Thanks to everyone who came to Parents Evening this week. It was lovely to see you all and I hope you enjoyed having the opportunity to look at the children’s books and hear how they are getting on.
We’ve had a busy week learning our new story Jack and the Beanstalk in literacy and the children have done some wonderful speech bubble writing for the different characters and have really enjoyed acting out the story with the puppets and masks. We also learned about Shrove Tuesday this week and made our own promises for Lent, thinking of something kind we could do for someone else. The promises and pancake making are all on Tapestry for you to view so please let me know if you are having any difficulties accessing it.
In maths we have met Numberblocks 13-15 and have also revisited doubling.
PE will be on a Friday afternoons this term. Please ensure all children have a suitable kit in school each week and that all items are named to avoid any mix-ups!
Forest School will continue for the current group for the next two Wednesdays. Please ensure your child has suitable clothing to wear, especially whilst the weather is so wet and cold. Forest School will return in the Summer Term where each group will do half a term each.
