What a brilliant week we’ve had text mapping and then changing the story of The Tiger Who Came to Tea. All the children have created their own stories by changing the text map with lots of interesting combinations – The Dinosaur Who Came to Dinner, The Snake Who Came to Supper, The Lion Who Came to Lunch and The Bunny Who Came to Breakfast as well as many more! The children will be practicing using their story maps to tell their new story and I’m hoping they will be brave and let me record them to share with you via Tapestry as I am so impressed with what they have done.

In Maths we have been learning about sharing into equal groups, initially sharing equally between two (halving) but then between three, four and even more, making sure that each ‘group’ is equal. Next week we will be learning a little more about odd and even numbers.

PE will continue to be on Fridays until the end of term. Please ensure children come to school wearing their PE kits on a Friday and school uniform on all other days. Thank you.
