We have had a super week learning about everyday superheroes such as police, vets, doctors, nurses, dentists and many others. We have been doing lots of talking and sharing ideas about all the people who help us and how many of them help us keep fit and healthy. The children decided to turn our indoor role play into a police station and we were lucky enough to have a visit from the fire service today too! It was very exciting! The children came up with some fantastic questions yesterday in preparation for their visit and we wrote them down together to make sure we could remember them all.
I would just like to say a huge thank you to all the parents who came along to the phonics sessions on Monday and Tuesday I hope you found it useful and I really appreciate you all making the effort to come along.
The children have their next set of sounds in their bags to practice and also have their Teach Your Monster to Read password cards in the back of their yellow reading records. This is free to play on the web following the link on their password card or using this link https://www.teachyourmonstertoread.com/u/3271574
if you have any questions about this please let me know. Have a lovely weekend. ?
