What a busy week! The children have done some amazing writing over the first part of the week, writing their own versions of The Three Billy Goats Gruff that they made up last week by changing the text map. In maths they have revisited solving problems by halving and sharing, making sure that each group has an equal amount. They have also been talking lots about all they have learned this year and how far they have all come since starting Beech Class.
It’s been an amazing journey! Hopefully you will have seen that if you made it to Stay and Play on Wednesday when you looked at their Literacy books. It was fantastic seeing so many of you here making such wonderful memories with the children and it always means so much to them.
It is our last Family Reading session today too at 2.40pm as we will be having our class party next Friday when we break up so please try and make it if you can.
It is our last PE session on Monday so all kits will be sent home at the end of the day. We will also be generating their end of year Tapestry journals soon which you can download from the website yourself or a CD can be provided if you prefer. Please look out for the letter regarding this.
As the end of term will soon be upon us, we will be collecting in all the sound cards, number cards and bingo boards over the next few days and will take in the reading books next week so please make sure everything is in your child’s book bag ready to be returned to school. Thank you!
Have a lovely weekend. 🙂
