Another week flown by! The children have been learning about instructions, using ‘bossy’ words this week, and have done some super writing. In maths we have been learning all about 3D shapes and making patterns. The children have had great fun making playdough and then using 3D shapes to print patterns into it.
As the weather has been so much nicer we have been learning lots outside, exploring floating and sinking in the water tray, story telling, hunting for gems in the sand and using ten frames to find out how many more they need to make 10, going on spring hunts with their checklists and exploring the mud kitchen and mud pit.
Everyone looked great today in red for Comic Relief, thank you for the donations and we loved hearing everyone’s jokes.
A big well done to this week’s Golden Certificate winner Ruby!
Please can I request that children do NOT put water bottles in their book bags, we have had a number of leakages and ruined books and sound cards lately! Thank you.
Don’t forget to read and practice sounds and tricky words over the weekend.
Have a lovely weekend. 🙂
Miss Jones, Mrs Millichamp and Mrs Kenny.
