Well another week gone already and what fun we have had changing our Three Little Pigs stories in Literacy. Thank you to those who shared them from home. We loved hearing about them. And it was so lovely to see so many of you on the Teams chat yesterday dressed up or sharing your favourite books. We are really looking forward to seeing you all back in school next week. 😊
We are continuing our Three Little Pigs theme into next week as it is Science Week, so we will be exploring lots of different materials and thinking about the theme ‘Innovations for the Future’. Perhaps over the weekend you could have a think about something you think could be designed in the future to make our lives easier or how things might change in your house or at school?
In Letters and Sounds we have now learned ALL the Phase 3 sounds and will be spending the next few weeks consolidating, practising recognising them in words and writing them as it has been very tricky learning all those new digraphs and trigraphs!
Please ensure the children bring their book bags back to school with their books, reading records and sound bags as we will have lots to change and update! Please also bring in any work you have done at home over the term and return the maths packs if you collected one. Thank you.
Also, just a reminder that PE is on Friday mornings so please ensure children wear their PE kits that day.
Finally a huge well done to everyone who has been working hard over this lockdown, it’s not been easy and we know you’ve been trying your best, especially our two CROW Award winners this week – Charlotte in school and Declan at home! Well done both!
Have a lovely weekend and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday morning! 🙂
