Embrace Holiday Activities – Christmas 2021
The Embrace Group have secured funding from Shropshire Council to offer families eligible for Free School Meals free places on their Christmas Holiday Club running at Meole Brace C of E Primary School.
Winter Holiday, Activity and Food Provision – Christmas 2021
Shropshire Council is working with local schools, voluntary and community organisations and childcare providers to run an exciting holiday programme this winter.
There are free places available on the programme for children and young people aged 5 to 16, who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals.
During 20 to 24 December, children and young people are invited to take part in a range of fun activities, happening at over 34 venues from across the county.

Shrewsbury Town In The Community – Christmas Holiday Clubs
Following the success from the Summer holiday and food programme (HAF), Shrewsbury Town In The Community can confirm that they are running the same project during the Christmas holidays. Children who claim free school meals can attend for FREE over the Christmas holidays, at Shrewsbury Town FC, at the facilities by the stadium.

Children In Need Day – Friday 19th November
A huge thank you to everyone who sent in sponsor money and donations to support our charity events today. The children have had a fun packed day of activities and laughter that finished with the children coming together to dance on the playground.
We have raised £385 as a school and special thanks must go to Willow, Charlie and Paige for their fabulous fundraising totals!! Well done everyone!!
Safer Schools
On Tuesday afternoon, we had this terms Safer School meeting. This was attended by our Year 6 representatives, PC Jim Nicholson, Ian Bartlett – the County Crime Prevention Officer, Pam Moseley – local councilor and School Governor and Mr Parkhurst, Headteacher.
Progress had been made on action points from the previous meetings and there were very positive comments made regarding the safety of the School site from both pupils and parents.

CHILDREN IN NEED – Friday 19th November 2021
To support this worthwhile charity this year we will be having a sponsored dance in school next Friday. Please send any sponsor donations into school on the day with your child.
It will also be a non uniform day and the children can wear yellow or another Pudsey colour.
All donations are welcome.
The kitchen will be serving burgers in baps or pizza, served with chips and Pudsey biscuits for pudding – please order on the day.
