A big well done to Ellie Jones, who won our fortnightly attendance award today!
Every two weeks all children who have attended school for the last fortnight with no lates or absences are entered into a prize draw to win a £10 Argos voucher.
Thank you to all children who took part in our dress in spotty and bright coloured clothes for Children In Need! We have raised £154.58 so far, with donations still coming in!
The school and the Friends of Crowmoor would very much appreciate that on non-uniform day on Friday 24th November that a child could donate something from the list below, rather than making a cash donation, please:
Nursery and reception – sweets and biscuits
Years 1 and 2 – Christmas food e.g. Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, cranberry sauce, stuffing etc
Years 3 and 4- Christmas cards, crackers, napkins, party plates etc
Years 5 and 6- Christmas decorations, tinsel, baubles, Santas snowman, window decorations etc
Thank you for all of your help and your co-operation it is very much appreciated by the school and the Friends of Crowmoor School.
We will be getting ready to decorate our school Christmas tree soon! The Friends of Crowmoor have asked if you would like to purchase a bauble for £1 rather than sending cards this year. All money raised will go to Hope House Charity and your child will decorate the bauble in school. It will then be placed on our tree in school your child can bring the bauble home on the last day of term! Thank you for your support.

We wanted to let parents know that we have a temporary vacancy for some cleaning hours after school. We would like to hear from any parents that already hold a DBS check and can provide a copy of the certificate, whether they would be interested in covering the hours until Christmas.
If you don’t hold a current DBS check please feel free to get in touch as we would look to process a DBS check for you if a longer term vacancy becomes available.
Please contact Hannah Cave or Lucy Hammond on 01743 235549.
We wanted to make all parents aware that we have had numerous cases of hand, foot and mouth diagnosed in school. We have contacted the school nurse team to inform them but we wanted to let parents know too and to ask you all to be extra vigilant with hand washing to try and prevent the spread of the virus. Many thanks
