This week in Maths, we have been looking at adding and subtracting lengths and perimeter, we have now finished our measure unit and will be moving on to fractions.

In Literacy we have been looking at the grammar features of a play script. The children have focused on apostrophes for possession and descriptive language.

On Thursday we celebrated World Book Day, the children enjoyed taking part in activities linked to World Book Day in the morning. All of the children looked wonderful in their outfits, well done to Ruby and Igor who won books for their costumes. Thank you for all of your support!

We have been busy with our play rehearsals this week and have really noticed a difference in the children’s performance, thank you for taking the time to learn these lines with your children. Children need to bring their costumes in as soon as they can.

It was lovely to see lots of you at our Parent Reading on Tuesday, our next session is on Tuesday 17th March 2020.

A letter had gone out about our Year 3 and 4 trip to Woodlane Nature reserve. Permission slips need to be handed in as soon as possible please.

Have a good weekend,

Miss Bliss and Mrs Davies
