I hope you are all safe and well. It has been a very strange year for us all! First of all a huge thank you to you for the hard work you have continued at home – thank your Mum’s, Dad’s and Carers too! Thank you for sharing your work with me, I hope to finish answering your emails soon.
I must say a massive thank you to Emelia, she has been with me from the start of the year and to the end of the year. She has been a superb help in the “Key Workers Bubble” and she has worked hard. She has represented Oak Class throughout but more importantly she has been an absolute treasure. Thank you Emelia, keep smiling.
So, please keep reading and learning your times tables over the Summer Holidays. Be kind to yourselves and your families. I am keeping everything crossed for our safe return in the Autumn Term. You will see a few changes when you come back, not least the layout of the classrooms. The Government have sent us some guidelines and this is what Oak Class will look like in the Autumn Term, we will sit in rows! There is also a letter coming out from Mr.P. which gives you more instructions about the start of the new term and our expectations of you to keep us all as safe as we can be.
Here are the photos of the class…
This is what you see when you walk in.This is what you see to the front. This is what you see from the back.
I have tried to put different angles for you to see. Hope this helps our new Oak Class because for you “Oldy Oaks,” you will be Year 6! I cannot believe how time has flies, I shall miss you all incredibly and I am still very sad that you had such a short time in Year 5. Hence, you now need to look at Willow Class to see what your new classroom will look like.
Thank you for the lovely cards and gifts many of you have sent. I shall enjoy sipping some of them from my gorgeous new squirrel cup, hopefully in a garden full of sunshine!
Finally keep practising washing your hands and keeping your distance. Stay safe and keep well.
With lots of love, Mrs.P.
