Hey!
Happy Easter everyone! Another successful term in Elm class. So proud of how hard the children have been working.
It has been a busy week this week, finishing off our topics and assessing the children’s maths and literacy skills. The children have all done really well and have impressed us with their own version of ‘Three Billy Goats Gruff’.
After half term, PE will go back to being on a Tuesday and Thursday. PE kit is only to be worn on those days and full school uniform on other days.
Can you please be encouraging your child to read every night, it is imperative to their academic success. The more they read, the more fluent they become and the more they can access across the curriculum. In the words of Dr. Suess… “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
Please see attached the curriculum overview for Summer 1.

Well done to Nellie, who is our golden certificate winner. She has settled in to life at Crowmoor fantastically and is a great addition to Elm class.
Make sure you don’t eat too much chocolate! Have lots of fun and relax.
See you back on Tuesday 9th April 🙂
