Hello everyone, hope you are all keeping safe and well.
So today was the last official day of term and indeed the school year. It was such a shame that our time was cut short this year. The Summer term is usually my favourite time, but this year it has been a very strange one without all the children in class. Despite, this I must admit, whilst writing reports and then compiling the Tapestry journals, I have been looking back at all the things we got to do in those first two terms, and must say I am very proud of them all and how much they achieved in that short time. It’s been wonderful getting to know them and watching them learn and grow, and I look forward to seeing that continue when they start Chestnut class in September.
Thank you to everyone who has been in touch via Tapestry or the class email, it’s been so lovely to hear from you and see photos of what you have been up to – the children have grown so much!!
Just a reminder that Tuesday 1st September is a PD day, so we return to School on Wednesday 2nd September. There will be a letter including details of the September return shortly. We are all really looking forward to seeing you all then.
Have a super summer break. Stay safe and take care of each other.
